Midway Heating Company is excited and proud to be part of Lennox’s Feel the Love program this year. As a participating Lennox dealer, we’ll be donating and installing a heating and cooling system to a Portlander who always puts others first.
Update: Nominations are close for 2024. A lucky recipient will be chosen in September and their new equipment will be installed in October.
What is the Feel the Love program?
Started in 2009, the Feel the Love program is made possible through the partnership and collaboration of the Lennox dealer network across North America. Since it was founded 15 years ago, more than 2,300 Merit heating and cooling systems have been installed at no-charge to well-deserving homeowners in need.
Lennox believes that everyone should be comfortable in their own home and is committed to making clear, comfortable air accessible to all. The high-efficiency equipment donated through the Feel the Love program will have a long-term impact on the environment and the recipients’ pocketbook as it has the potential to reduce energy bills by up to 30-40%.
How does it work?
As a participating dealer, Midway Heating Company will donate and install the heating and cooling equipment free of charge to the selected recipient. Nominations are being accepted through August 31st. Selections will be made in September with installation taking place the week of October 5th through the 12th.
Who is eligible?
Past nominees include community leaders, like teachers, firefighters, medical staff, and volunteers as well as veterans, senior citizens or families affected by natural disasters.
What makes a good nominee?
Someone who always puts others first. They come from all walks of life but sometimes they need help making sure their own needs are met. If you know of someone in Portland who you believe deserves recognition for their service to the community, this is a wonderful way to show your appreciation.
