What’s AFUE?
It’s short for Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency. The AFUE number tells you how efficiently a furnace converts fuel to energy.
For example, a 95% AFUE-rated furnace means that 95 cents out of every dollar goes towards heating your home.
Dual-fuel capability means it can be combined with a heat pump to save money on heating costs by alternating between 2 energy sources.
